And then there’s fall. The autumn breeze rustles through the red and orange trees as it greets you with the slightest chill. The faintest smell of campfire in the air, it's almost as comforting as the pumpkin-scented candle that warms our home in the evenings. There are so many beautiful details that come into view with the changing of the seasons, it’s no wonder it’s such a popular time for weddings.

A Dazzling Tablescape

It was an exquisite fall evening lit by twinkling lights and flickering candles, filled with heartwarming company and the perfect setting for a spectacular wedding. Nestled in the flourishing foliage at Aldridge Gardens, the reception was expertly decorated in a chic and timeless style by Southern Styled Events, with flower arrangements from Vera Flora Design. Thanks to their exceptional expertise, guests were instantly wrapped in the evening’s warm embrace, leaving all worries behind. 

A Fresh and Stylish Grazing Table

This special event featured one of our signature grazing tables. We design every grazing table with guests in mind, which is why they are filled with so many fresh, delicious, and easily shareable food items. For this timeless autumn wedding, we arranged a bountiful grazing table filled with fresh fruits and vegetables like cucumbers, carrots, bell peppers, and more. Sweet blueberries and strawberries accompanied a Whipped Feta & Honey Dip, topped with crushed pistachios. Tangy blackberries and raspberries on a bed of Brie, drizzled in honey, paired with a selection of charcuterie meats, toasted crostini, assorted nuts, and crunchy crackers. 

Stellar Starters

After the ceremony, guests mingled and bonded during a short cocktail hour, where they were served hand-crafted hor d'oeuvres including single-serve Korean Shredded Pork Bowls, layered with sticky rice, nori, pickled vegetables, and tangy Korean barbeque sauce. We also passed one of our most popular appetizers, Créole Devilled Eggs. 

As the reception began, guests sat to enjoy a gourmet meal and an elegant tablescape. The first course served was salad. This divine salad was made of a mix of arugula and spinach greens, topped with fried goat cheese balls, thinly sliced red onion, pomegranate seeds, candied pecans, and house-made honey vinaigrette. This was also paired with our freshly baked and beloved Honey & Thyme Cornbread Muffins and a drizzle of Hot Honey. 

A Reception to Remember

For the last course, guests enjoyed a fall-inspired wedding dinner that complemented the occasion perfectly. Our Mini Crab Cakes with Spicy Remouladé were only the first item on their plates. They also enjoyed dishes like Maple Cayenne Brussels & Butternut Squash and Creamy Cheesy Polenta. The tender beef filet was carved tableside and served with creamy horseradish sauce while guests absorbed the magic and beauty of the evening surrounding them. 

And to finish off the night with some fun, we made guests some sweet and chocolate Baileys shooters. 

It was a magnificent night to be a part of. We are honored to have worked alongside the talents of Southern Styled Events, Vera Flora Design, and Aldridge Gardens to make this wedding a dream come true for the newlyweds.
