As we’ve said many times, one of the things we love most about our job is gathering people together to make memories and enjoy each other’s company. Typically, we are apart of other’s events, but sometimes we get to throw a party and do all of the planning ourselves. 

When we set out to plan the Birmingham Blogger Event we knew we wanted to do something unique and special. We had started to see a lot of traction from our grazing tables at different events, so we knew that we wanted to take it one step further. 

With the help of our friends Jones’ is Thirsty, Loren Wood, Sunnie Leigh, Campesino Rum, Hopson Rae, and Magic City Woodworks, we were able to create an all encompassing experience for this special event. 

Magic City Woodwork’s beautiful 12 foot table was artfully designed to showcase a full spread of meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, dips, crackers, and appetizers. To top one of our largest spreads, we created an interactive wine pairing experience within each section of the table. Guests enjoyed red, white and rose wine throughout the night, with bites of food that paired best with each palette. 

During the night, guests also enjoyed delicious themed craft cocktails from our friends at Campesino Rum. Live music, dessert, and champagne kept the guests mingling after the main meal. 

We were so pleased with the turnout, and really wanted to give back to the local bloggers who do so much for the brands in our community! A great time was had by all! Thank you to Carlyle Thornton and Madison Freeman for being amazing hosts.
