At Table & Thyme, we’re dedicated to bringing a unique level of elegance and sophistication to every event we work with. From weddings to birthday parties, we do our best to make every event special and to make every menu an unforgettable one! Of course, this baby shower was no exception! 

We recently worked with a Birmingham-based fitness blogger that makes a fitness lifestyle look beautiful and easy! Earlier this month, the influencer known as Body by Bham welcomed her little one into the world!

   

  

We are excited and wish her well on her journey as a parent, and couldn’t help but feel nostalgic about the baby shower we catered for her earlier this year. In honor of the newest addition to her family, we are excited to take a look back at how wonderful this baby shower turned out! 

To set the stage for the event, the skilled designers at Celebrate Birmingham created a gorgeous statement piece! 

 

 

 

 

Hosted in the client’s home, this baby shower was filled with colorful lunch foods and plenty of heartfelt smiles as loved ones came to celebrate the mother-to-be! 

 

Starting off strong with starters!

If you’ve been keeping up with our content, you are well aware of some of our favorite grazing table elements that we love to incorporate in most events. This includes a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables and a selection of meats, cheeses, crackers, and even assorted nuts! This event featured crisp cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, green, purple, and red grapes, sweet strawberries, sweet gherkin pickles, cubes of pepper jack, cheddar, and colby jack cheese! This event’s grazing table also had fresh, homemade croissants and savory charcuterie meats for guests to appreciate while enjoying one another’s company.  

 

 

Make room for the hors d’oeuvres! 

For a great grazing table, there should be a hearty selection of prepared dishes alongside the single-serve finger foods that fill the table. This is where we highlight the uniqueness of each event by mixing and matching trusted dishes as well as introducing entirely new flavor combinations to the menu. For this event, we offered guests a palette consisting of pimento sliders, pigs in a blanket, fresh pita chips with homemade red pepper and thyme hummus or hot spinach and artichoke dip, savory mini crab cakes, and even our beloved créole devilled eggs! 

 

 

Some sweetness to wrap things up!

There’s nothing much sweeter than welcoming a new bundle of joy into the world, but some delicious cake and other sweet treats are definitely on the way! This event sported a delicate berry crumble cake as well as some sea salt and caramel dark chocolate morsels and our Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies! To wash the delicious foods down, guests could choose between lemon and mint infused water, mimosas, or a cozy cup of coffee! 

 

The most adorable party favors of the century!

This baby shower was not only magical because of the love that went into celebrating the event, but also because of the excitement that filled the room! Fueled by great food and a good time, this event also had some precious party favors for guests thanks to Black Dog Baking Company!
