Hungry for a grilled cheese? What about a hot dog? What if we told you that you could have BOTH?! Two of your favorites come together to create one cheesy summertime favorite, the Grilled Cheese Hot Dog. While both are individually beloved by most, we’ve taken the cheesy elements of a grilled cheese and stuffed it inside the bun to take your hot dog game up a few notches. You don’t want to sleep on this new creation. 

Instructions:

1. Preheat a flat top grill, griddle, or pan.
2. Add your seasoning of choice to the shredded cheese. (We used chili powder.)
3. Cook your hotdogs until lightly charred. While the hot dogs are cooking, split open your bun.
4. Add a layer of cheese, then pickled jalapenos.
5. Add the hot dog, then one more layer of cheese.
6. Quickly place the hot dog, cheese side down, on the pan. Cook for a few minutes, or until cheese gets crispy.
7. Remove and serve!
