Table & Thyme specializes in creating unique dining experiences for a range of events, but we especially love working with weddings. When our friends CJ and Ben reached out to us to make their special day one to remember, we couldn’t wait to share the magic with everyone else, too! As expected, this wedding was an enchanting evening filled to brim with love, warmth, and delicious food. Check out some of the amazing shots from Dakota Chasity below!
In order to make this day unforgettable, we worked endlessly to serve the perfect selection of dishes. Next to the sparkling waters of the family’s private Lakehouse property, guests enjoyed a variety of fresh and elegantly prepared flavors, beginning with some delicious appetizers. The appetizers we selected for this wedding are some of our most popular, which made them perfect for this event. We served Creole Deviled Eggs topped with bacon jam and fresh garden chives as well as Lobster Toast made with a creamy lobster spread and zesty guacamole.
Aside from the beautiful summer ceremony, these two things also help to create some of the most delightful flavors of the season. We decided to offer some of these flavors in some handmade dishes including Strawberry Spring Salad, made with spring mix lettuce, goat cheese, purple, onions, candied pecans, sweet strawberries, and honey vinaigrette dressing, Butternut Squash Au Gratin, made with butternut squash in a cream and cheesy bake, Roasted Rosemary Potatoes, and Shredded Brussels Sprouts with bacon and a balsamic glaze.
For the main component of the reception’s central meal, we wanted to have the perfect balance of variety and delicacy. We decided on Beef Filet, served with creamy horseradish sauce, Pork Tenderloin served with tomato relish, and Citrus Grilled Chicken to satisfy any and all taste buds.
