Before we move into fall, let’s take a moment to embrace the beauty of the past summer with this adorable event!

At Table & Thyme, we work hard to help create unforgettable experiences for any type of event! Baby showers are always so fun and bright, they are definitely one of our favorite types of events to cater. Just like each person, each event has a unique personality with nuanced taste and characteristics, which is why we incorporate those unique qualities in the spreads and tablescapes we curate. We couldn’t wait to share how adorable this event turned out! With the array of bright colors and the soft atmosphere, this event is a great way to transition from the vibrance of summer into the delicacy of fall. 

Setting the Stage.

Part of planning the perfect party is designing the space to invoke the ideal emotions. With the help of Mary Frances at Mariee Ami, this event was staged perfectly to reflect the elegance, beauty, and sweetness of this stage in little Harlow’s life! This event features delicate floral arrangements, decor from EventWorks Rentals, and adorable balloon arrangements by Mary Virginia at Celebrate Birmingham! 

 

Making memories with great food. 

For this event, we just had to go all out. We wanted to bring as many flavors, textures, and colors as possible for this tablescape, which is why we featured such a large selection of items. From fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables to our expertly crafted appetizers, we held quality to the highest standard. The singular components of this grazing table consisted of cured meats, premium cheeses, crudités, artisan breads and crackers, marinated olives, pickles, and a variety of mustards and spreads. 

 

 

One of a kind appetizers for a one of a kind party.

To add some substantial body and flavor to this event’s grazing table, we crafted a few of our favorite appetizer dishes to accompany the fresh and flavorful spread shown above. For this baby shower, we served pimento finger sandwiches as well as smoked salmon cucumber finger sandwiches, garnished with capers and dill. We also served spicy, marinated shrimp cocktail, and grilled Chilton County peach crostini made with ricotta cheese, prosciutto, basil, honey, and a delectable balsamic glaze drizzle. 

 

A touch of sweetness…

To wrap up this event, we wanted to highlight some of the other elemented that really made this day memorable. Alongside the gorgeous and delicious grazing table spread and delicate design and decor, this event featured some decadent dishes. Sweet cocktails and punch were paired with an adorable cake honoring little darling Harlow as well as custom cookies by the talented Sugar Krewe! 

 

Welcoming sweet Harlow to the world was an event we are honored to have been a part of. This elegant and enjoyable day turned out so great we couldn’t resist sharing it as we move into a new season.
