Spring is here! 

What a wonderful time to celebrate life with beautiful flowers, tender moments, and delicious food!

At Table & Thyme, we are dedicated to helping our clients make immaculate memories through our catering services. With a keen eye and strict attention to detail, we have perfected our tablescapes to make every experience a magical one. 

We recently catered a baby shower for local blogger, Jamie Montgomery, that encompassed all things precious! With a gentle and fresh theme accented by hints of cream, navy blue, and gold, this baby shower is one of the most adorable events we’ve worked on to date!

Thankfully, Birmingham Picnic Company and Celebrate Birmingham were the perfect team of creatives for Table & Thyme to partner with for this event. Hosted in the family’s charming cottage home, the essence of quality and class is captured in every shot of the day, let’s take a look at the gorgeous event space for this baby shower! 

Take note of the delicate use of gold accents alongside soft linens and pastel floral arrangements! 

 

 

A Delectable Day Together.

The atmosphere was abuzz with happiness, which was only heightened with our delightful lunch spread. Guests were spoiled with the fresh bounties of spring for this grazing table which included fruits and vegetables such as snap peas, cherry tomatoes, grapes, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, sliced oranges, blueberries. They could also graze on sweet baby gherkins, pepperoncinis, an assortment of fine cheeses and meats, and even pair artisan crackers and bread with our homemade red pepper and thyme hummus. 

 

 

Filling up on Good Food and Happy Memories.

For a more filling snack, guests could snack on hor d’oeuvres such as smoked salmon crostini topped with capers and tomato bruschetta with balsamic glaze, as well as finishing off their lunch by indulging in our mini-raspberry cheesecake bites and our Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies. 

 

A Delightfully Sweet Sip!

The guests’ party favors for this baby shower are some of the cutest we’ve seen so far! Miniature bottles of sparkling Lamarca Prosecco wrapped in sparkling baby blue bows and paired with adorable paper straws were truly a highlight of the event! 

They lined the expertly decorated shelves atop the drink station, which featured a delicious rosemary lemonade for guests to sip on during the festivities. 

 

This baby shower was truly a delight to cater and we are so thankful to have been a part of celebrating this special moment. We would like to thank the vendors that helped make this event possible, so if you have a chance, make sure to take a look at their services!
