Whether you’re throwing a party and looking for the perfect snacks to entertain your guests, or you’re simply craving the heavenly taste of homemade brownies but don’t want to go through the trouble of baking, this recipe is a saving grace!
It’s always been at least somewhat tempting to sneak a spoonful of brownie batter before it’s baked into warm squares of chocolatey goodness, but it isn’t always safe. Raw brownie batter is generally considered a not-so-great snack since there are ingredients that could lead to foodborne illness if not cooked properly. This recipe is not only a safe and easy way to indulge in that temptation, but it’s also ideal for sharing, too, making it great for parties and get-togethers! But, be warned! This rich and creamy brownie batter dip is so delectable and simple to make, that you may want to keep it all to yourself!
This recipe is quick and easy and only requires a few ingredients. In order to savor the sweetness of this no-bake dessert dip, gather some chocolate chips, maple syrup, oat flour cocoa powder, vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, and nut butter of your choice.
We used Justine’s Classic Peanut Butter, which gave our brownie batter dip a flavorful creaminess that made it all the more irresistible!
Once you’ve got everything you need ready, it’s time to start mixing! In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the oat flour, salt, and cocoa powder. We recommend a dark cocoa powder like Hershey’s Special Dark Cocoa Powder for a more bold and rich dip. Mix the powders until they are evenly distributed so that they will blend into the other ingredients seamlessly.
Then, add a thick and sweet maple syrup, like Spring Tree’s 100% Pure Maple Syrup, and your preferred nut butter. Mix the ingredients until they form a creamy paste without any pockets of stray powder.
Top the chocolate dip with a quality vanilla extract that is guaranteed to enhance the cocoa powder and maple syrup flavors. We used Trader Joe’s Organic Pure Bourbon Vanilla Extract which adds an aged and refined flavoring to the dip.
After combining nearly all of the ingredients, it’s time to fold in the chocolate chips. Folding can be tricky at first, so if you are finding the dip too difficult to work with, adding a Tablespoon or two of milk can help to thin it out for a more even distribution of chocolate chips!
Once your chocolate chips have been blended, your dip is ready to enjoy! You can indulge in the gooey, chocolate sensation with a spoon, a helping of fresh strawberries, or chill to snack on later!
Dark chocolate with a side of decadence, this brownie batter dip is an irresistible treat to pair with fresh strawberries, cookies, graham crackers, or even all by itself!
