Ingredients:
- 1 can of cinnamon rolls
- 1 can of apple pie filling
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350º.
- Pour the can of apple pie filling into a bowl.
- Open the cinnamon rolls, and cut each cinnamon roll into 6 even pieces. Add the pieces to the bowl, and stir until the mixture is well combined.
- Pour it into a baking dish, and cook for 30-35 min or until done.
- Drizzle with the cinnamon roll icing.
Dumpling Bake
Cook Time: 35 Minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 cup hot water
- 3 tbsp peanut butter
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp chili crisp
- 12-15 frozen dumplings
- Scallions
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°.
- Combine the water, peanut butter, soy sauce, and chili crisp in a jar. Cover with a lid and shake until well combined.
- Pour the sauce into a baking dish, then place the dumplings into the dish. Cover with foil and bake for 15 min.
- Remove the foil and bake for another 10 min to allow the sauce to thicken.
- Remove from the oven, then top with more chili crisp and scallions.
London Fog
Cook Time: 7 Minutes
Ingredients:
- Earl grey tea bag
- 1-2 tsp vanilla syrup
- Frothed milk
Instructions:
- Fill a mug ¾ of the way with hot water.
- Steep the Earl Grey tea for 3-5 minutes.
- Stir in the vanilla simple syrup, then top with frothed milk.
Sausage & Spinach Orzo
Cook Time: 35 Minutes
Ingredients
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ cup tomato paste
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 cup orzo
- 2 ¾ cups chicken broth
- ¾ cup heavy cream
- 2 handfuls fresh spinach
- ¾ cup Parmesan, freshly grated
Instructions
- Sauté garlic in olive oil until fragrant, 1-2 min
- Add sausage, cook and crumble until browned. Transfer to a bowl.
- Add the tomato paste to the same pan and cook until brick red, about 1 min.
- Add the orzo and chicken broth, seasonings, salt, and pepper, then bring to boil. Lower the temperature and simmer for 8-10 min.
- Stir in the cream, spinach, and sausage. Simmer for another 2-3 min, then add the Parmesan and stir until combined.
- Serve topped with more Parmesan and fresh cracked pepper.
Feel Good Soup
Cook Time: 30 Minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 large carrot, chopped into 1inch pieces
- 1-2 celery sticks, chopped into 1inch pieces
- ½ onion, chopped into 1inch pieces
- 4-5 garlic cloves
- 1 box chicken stock
- ½ cup pasta of choice
- Olive oil
- Parmesan
- Black pepper
Instructions:
- Add the veggies and stock to a pot and bring to a boil. Boil for 15-20 minutes or until the veggie are soft.
- Season with salt and pepper, then blend using a blender or immersion blender.
- Cook your pasta according to the box, then drain and divide evenly in two bowls.
- Pour the broth mixture over the pasta, then drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with pepper and Parmesan.
Dark Chocolate Cherry Almond Muffins
Cook Time: 35 Minutes
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup melted butter
- ⅜ cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- ¾ tsp almond extract
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ cup milk
- ¼ cup dark chocolate chips
- ½ cup cherries, pitted and quartered
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°.
- In a large bowl, combine the butter and sugar. Once mixed, add the egg and almond extract, stirring until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add half the flour to the butter mixture and stir until well combined. Add the milk and stir, then add the remaining flour and stir. The batter will be thick. Fold in the dark chocolate and cherries.
- Grease a muffin tin, then fill each tin about ⅔ full. It should make about six muffins. Bake for 20-25 minutes, rotating halfway through.
Banana Bread Pancakes
Cook Time: 20 Minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 medium bananas
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup canola oil
Instructions:
- Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a medium bowl. In a separate bowl, mash the bananas with a fork.
- Add the milk, eggs, and canola oil, and stir to combine. It’s ok if there are still chunks. Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and stir until just combined.
- Heat a pan over medium. Pour ¼ cup of batter into the pan. Once the edges begin the dry and the top is bubbling, flip. Cook for another minute or until browned.
- Serve topped with more sliced bananas and maple syrup.
Brownie Baked Oats
Cook Time: 1 Hour 15 Minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 cups milk
- ½ cup maple syrup
- ⅓ cup peanut butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups oats
- ¼ cup cocoa
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 Tbsp ground flax
- ¼ tsp salt
- ⅓ cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine milk, maple syrup, peanut butter, and vanilla.
- Once mixed, add all the dry ingredients except the chocolate chips and mix well.
- Once combined, fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour into a greased baking dish, and bake for 55 min at 350°.
Ginger Infused Honey
Cook Time: 10 Minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 cup honey
- 2 3-inch knobs of fresh ginger, peeled and cut into ¼ inch slices
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 3 cloves
- Zest from one orange
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to a pan over medium-low.
- Bring to low simmer for 5-7 minutes to infuse.
- Strain into a container and let cool. Use it in coffee, yogurt, etc. Keep for up to two weeks.
Veggie Pot Pie
Cook Time: 50 Minutes
Ingredients:
- 10 oz corn
- 2 cup + 3 Tbsp flour (separated)
- 2 cup vegetable broth
- 1 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 lb Yukon gold potatoes
- 1 small yellow onion
- ½ lb green beans
- 12 oz carrots
- 4 Tbsp melted butter
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 ¼ cup milk
- 2 tsp white wine vinegar
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°.
- Slice your carrots, cut the green beans into 1 inch pieces, dice the onion, cut the corn off the cob, and cut the potatoes. Grate your Parmesan.
- Put the olive oil in a large ovenproof skillet over medium heat. Add the green beans, onions, and carrots. Cook until softened, 3-4 min.
- Add the potatoes and vegetable broth, and bring to a boil. Stir in the corn.
- In a measuring cup, whisk 3 Tbsp flour with 1 cup milk. Pour the mixture into the skillet, and reduce heat to medium low. Simmer 5-6 min or until the sauce is thickened.
- In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, 1 and ¼ milk, and 2 tsp of white wine vinegar. Add the Parmesan, chopped rosemary, and flour.
- Mix until the dough comes together. Using a large spoon, dollop the dough over the vegetable filling in the skillet. It should be enough for 8-10 biscuits.
- Bake on the top rack for about 18 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden and cooked through. Let sit 5 min before serving.
