While it’s still spooky season, we’ve created a Halloween recipe that’s simple, not scary. These adorable Hotdog Mummies only require five ingredients to make a cute, kid-friendly and frightfully easy dinner for a spook-tacular Halloween!
Cook Time: 20 min
Ingredients:
Preheat the oven to 375º and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Unroll the crescent dough onto a cutting board, and cut into ½ inch strips.
Take 1 hot dog and 1 strip of the dough and wrap the dough around the hot dog, criss-crossing to make it look like a mummy. Leave a blank space on one end for the face.
Lay all the crescent-wrapped hotdogs on the baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
While the hotdogs are baking, use an icing tip to cut eyes out of the cheese.
Once the hotdogs are out of the oven, use a toothpick to place a little ketchup on the blank “face” of the hot dog. Place the eyes on top of the ketchup.
Add another dot of ketchup on each of the eyeballs, and top with a poppyseed.
Serve warm with dipping sauces of your choice!
