Birthdays only come around once every 365 days…

That means each and every one deserves to be celebrated to the max! 

Whether it’s to mark one year or seventy, every birthday is a special celebration of someone’s experiences, accomplishments, and everything that makes them them. It’s a time when so many friends and family can gather and commemorate that special person, so hosting a party is the perfect play for birthdays! 

Here at Table & Thyme, we love helping others make birthday celebrations extra special with elaborate tablescapes and flavorful spreads of delicious food! It’s always a fun and engaging atmosphere to be in and each birthday is so unique. We do our best to represent the special characteristics in each event, which is why we were so excited to help make Michelle’s 40th birthday surprise as spectacular as possible! 

For someone with such a vibrant personality, we decided that was the way to go! Colorful florals accentuate the radiant fruits, vegetables, and hor d’oeuvres incorporated into this extravagant grazing table! Juicy strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, cherries, and grapes served alongside cool, crisp cucumber slices, soft pita bread, and creamy red pepper hummus for a range of delectable flavors! This grazing table also consisted of prosciutto, soppresso, cashews, cheddar cheese, sour cream and chives dip, and so much more. 

 

 

This Surprise Keeps Getting Better and Better!

Alongside the assortment of flavors we’ve already explored, we incorporated some of our all-time favorite elements for this event! Marinated baby mozzarella balls garnished with a sprig of fresh and fragrant rosemary are placed on the bountiful tablescape as well as some appetizing caprese salad with tri-color tomatoes and a balsamic vinegar glaze. We also had to make one of our beloved dishes that fit the theme of this party perfectly: creamy baked Brie topped with raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries! These elements worked perfectly with the vibrant atmosphere we were trying to conjure for this exciting 40th birthday celebration! 

 

 

Adding the Final Touch to this Beaming Birthday Event 

No birthday celebration is complete without a slice of a decadent birthday cake! Thanks to the wonderful talents of Cakes Rain or Shine, Michelle’s birthday cake was a centerpiece to the gorgeous tablescape of flowers and tasty food. Though it was the most notable, this beautiful birthday cake was not the only tasty treat for guests of this party to enjoy! We also incorporated tender salted caramel and dark chocolate morsels, yogurt covered pretzels, and our Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies to satisfy everyone’s sugar craving! 

 

 

We are honored to have been able to contribute to this once in a lifetime celebration! You only turn 40 once, and we are thankful to have made this day of commemoration a special surprise for Michelle, her friends, and her family!
